Unable to complete "puzzle"

So, the third puzzle you face is uncompletable for me. The one where you have to kill the blind squid. I am an unable to move the gear in to place. Lara just shakes her head and I can't do anything.

Also, does anyone else experience janky physics or sloppiness? I know this game is old but damn, is it bad sometimes.

I'm running a 970 and 3770 and mate, I feel you, on the frame drop. Thankfully such glitched graphics only happens in this particular level, THANK GOD. The rest of the games (many more levels) are silky smooth.

TAB in / out will solve the aformentioned issue. Not a perfect fix but it works.

I've had no issues motivating the gears (to eventually drop the spiked disc thus killing the kraken), I willl let someone else comment on that.

I have problems with this too, but I solved it by pulling the gear below the platform. Jump down from the platform with the lever, and pull it from down there.

turn on vsync to fix it

As above, the vsync will fix alot of the minor problems you will come across, box's drop in odd places also fixed thru vsync. there is a bug with save files, delete them before starting a new game, some items n relic's don't get put back in the game and are stored in those saves, delete the saves and everything is new again. also tring to replay a level has the same effect once you pick something up its not there the 2nd time thru, delete the save then replay.

Cant pull it aswell. ill refund this garbage game even if its 99 cent. Cant pull this fkin gear even with vsync on

Recommend using a guide. That one was pretty complicated- just getting from place to place in order to finish it. There is nothing wrong with the game, it is just very specific about how you have to go through the process to make it work. I would have spent days without the helpful video puzzle guide.

Oh, is it the gear your pulling with the grapple? You will need to wiggle her around and back and forth, at the same time push the E on keyboard, or the Y on controller, push and pull and keep tapping the E or Y. Sometime you have to do that a lot. I hope you have fun with the game.
