No achievements ?

I wonder why there is no real achievements to chase after in this game. I know it came out in 2008 was not that long ago but is there no need or not enough of a fan base. I mean the Tomb Raider franchise is pretty large since its inception in 1996. So simply put why isn't there no achievements to go after for this game ?

What kind of reply did you expect? We can't even know whether it was discussed at all and decided against, or whether it never came up at all.

Achievements wasn't a thing for PC gaming until the early 2010's.
