Jan Mayen Island problems

In the Jan Mayen Island, when Laura is supposed to climb a counter wight, than jump on a wire that is attached to some gears, than jump up a chain and and climb across that chain that is going backwards Laura is to slow and is unable to climb all the way over the chain, she just gets pulled back with the chain and ends up dying. Does anyone know how o make her climb across that chain faster? I tried both with PS controller and keyboard, but nothing seems to make her climb faster.

If I remember correctly, there was a button to make her shimmy faster...

You can rapid press E on ledges and so on while moving a direction to go faster. I only just reached this level so not sure specifically what you are meant to do yet.
