Update 0.21.0


We’ve have fixed the following issues thanks to critical feedback from the community:


Saya's ability to use weapons while dead.
Improved gamepad character controls.
Flickering of the respawn of the player character
The game over screen bringing up the pause menu


Weapon changes


Sil’s shotgun pellet damage was increased from 0.6 to 0.7.
Notes: We felt that Sil’s shotgun was lacking power so we’ve decided to slightly increment its power.


Sil’s burst rifle recoil increased from 5 to 25
Notes: The bust rifle is such a powerful and accurate weapon that there is little consequence in using it in comparison to other weapons. We’ve decided to give this weapon a recoil that should be noticed from repeated fire attempts. We wanted to hit the weapon with a meaningful consequence.


Grenade launcher bullet speed increased from 20 to 25
Notes: We felt the grenade travel speed was too slow most of the time to use and too difficult to hit enemies with. We’ve increased the speed of the bullet which will now more easily hit their intended targets.


Due to Saya’s rework coming in the future we though it best not to mess around with her weapons. She received no buffs or nerfs


Stage Changes


Enemy positions and placement have been changed. This was done to have a better flow between sections of heavy combat and heavy platforming. This was also done to prevent Dino Chargers from exhibiting odd behaviour noticed in playthroughs this is not an AI issue but is instead related to the way our stage is currently designed


Enemy Changes


Giga Sentry (miniboss)

The miniboss has been changed to better allow for an equal challenge to both characters. The miniboss will now be taking aim at the player and we've simplified this pattern down to 2 attacks. Expect to see the miniboss come as a regular enemy in later levels with new abilities to challenge the player.


Boss Changes


Spider Tank

We’ve updated the end level boss as well as the boss arena. The arena has been redone to be a flat surface with new temporary platforms that will keep the fight focused and mobile. The Spider Tank has a few new attacks, so stay on your toes and watch out!

With Saya’s intended rework coming in the future we understand that she currently has a very hard time against the boss. We apologize for this and hope to correct it once her rework is done.
