Login information invalid.

Hi. I played fine a day ago but now suddenly it just says "Enter to login" and under that it says "The login information submitted is invalid. Please verify the user name and password"
So yeah there's no way to verify the user name nor password and pressing enter just makes it lag for a second and nothing else.

I've tried checking integrity of files but to no prevail and i don't want to redownload the game as i have a slow download. Any suggestions?

Fixed it myself. It was my steam client that was bugged out. CS:GO wouldn't work either and had an error as well so restarting the pc worked out fine. A mod can close / delete the thread if so wished.

I have the same issue and restarting PC doesnt seem to work. Any suggestions?

I haven't tried playing it in a long while now but close other applications you might not need ie: skype, web browsers, other game applications as Origin, Epic Games.
Also some other anti cheat systems might be interfering like Valorants anti cheat or perhaps faceit anti cheat among other.

If none of those works you can check if you have newest steam update by pressing top left on Steam then click on "Check for Steam client updates"

Other than that it can be windows updates or other applications for god who knows what like logitech webcam or logitechs ghub for mouse/keyboard etc. It's a wild goose but for me it was just the steam client that was wonky at that time and just had to restart the pc.
