Also told a co-worker about the game today, said he thinks he's tried it and said he might start playing too.
And my wife's brother who used to play it before also said he could play with me and the wife. So yeah, I think there's a good group thing forming here.
Enough momentum and maybe we get a bigger map, with more different biomes and quirks in the future?
Would be AMAZING!
The survey was asking about enough classes/ abilities or bigger map, that kind of stuff. And sure it could use an upgrade of content now and then. And it could use quite some gameplay fixes, badly. But I hope they keep in mind what makes this game unique and build on those strengths:
Shards/ forge: no opening up of a chest is ever a waste, always looking for more chests so no experience of downtime, but also the forced change in pace when you have to nervously loiter while waiting for the forge.
Classes/ abilities: they feel truly unique, like you can actually shape how you want to play, like your choices matter.
Chicken mechanism: feels like fast paced action but not all to gory or aggressive, I can play this with my toddler (or both of 'em) on my lap.
Would it be nice? Yes...
Would I hold my breath until it does? No...
