If you're complaining about getting matched with random players.. how about, I dunno, find a friend?
What? 3 man groups can totally queue up, why wouldn't they be able to? they just wouldn't get a 4th memeber.
I have played with friends many times, and I just feel like the gaming experience in squads is not challengeing, i have played with a group of 3 and groups of 4. It's mostly just random squads that we crush all game until we get to the last 1 or two teams who also have voice coms and are coordinated where we actually get some gameplay.
I'm talking about a system that can improve the game.
Also pretend that I am a person who doesn't have friends wouldn't what you're saying be exaclty beneficial to the system. I would atually ahve to go find a friend to play with so i can queue up in squads :)
How do you know that queue times will go up, you are assuming it will? maybe the gaming experience will actually be better and much more people will be inclined to play the mode and queue times will decrease.
That's literally what I said. Did you read my message? "3 man groups couldn't autofill" Your response is "They can they just can't autofill"
Yeah, if you're a coordinated squad that isn't terrible then you have a much bigger advantage over the casuals who don't even know what they're doing. This is true in every BR and will forever be true. Sometimes you'll find another squad who is just as coordinated / skilled, and that is when it will be somewhat of a challenge
No, that would not be beneficial to the system. Instead of giving people the *option* to choose between random teammates or friends, you would force them to go outside of the game to find friends and then play. This is something not everyone wants to do.
That is your opinion: "that it wouldn't be beneficia.l" just because a system is completely broken doesnt mean, it will always be broken "forever true" lol. There are always ways to make things better improve upon the, if we as human beings just said accepted something that was bad and never innovated or improved we would never advance!!! My idea could be worth a shot. SO i respecefully have to disagree with you.
Your idea is that by removing the opportunity for solo players to play squads, somehow squads will be better..?
I mean, I'd probably agree that the games would become harder, simply because people would be forced to find friends outside of the game in order to play. So they're more likely to use comms / actually try rather than ♥♥♥♥ around.
The issue with that, is exactly what.. whoever else said. The queue timers would drastically increase.
So far I have in squads always players who drop on same place, everyone are waiting for first mark on map and then they all drop there. Sure a lot of warriors and engineers are camping and playing defensive aka annoying, but that is purpose of playing squads in matchmaking.
I see that you queued for 8 squad matches recently. In each of those matches, you have different teamates. It seems to me like you are playing solo.
In those 8 matches, you have a total of 125 damage done. I know the damage done is not completely accurate, but it gives a good idea of what has been done. It seems like you haven't done anything in 8 matches.
All that make it seems like you are the exact problem you are describing. I understand that you have empathy and that you want to protect others from your teamplay, but there is no reason to enforce that for other players.
yea when i see a team that i uncapable of understanding the game, i dont even bother trying, go look at my solo matches, most of them I have done damage and have kills, unless im trying to get a quest done in where i just dont go for the win but rather the actual quests.
What you are saying is proving my point exactly. and in those squad games that i am in most of the time the entire team hasn't done any damage either, when i see a team is uncapable of doing atleast something correct instead of runnign around looting for 5 hours, i just give rather not even put the effort into going into a possible 1 v 4 scenario.
This proves exactly what is wrong with the squad system. In Realm more than any other game, good communication and playing with team is important since there are abilities that can benefit the entire team, forges that you can take advantage of and take others peopel stuff, and loot specific to each class. when i open a chest and see a epic concussion bomb and the person in my team instantly disenchants it, makes me very salty.
And ofcourse I AM TALKING about my own experience who's elses experience would i be talking about. But as i am having this kind of experience over so many games, im sure im not the only one.
If you want to play with players that will follow the same line of thoughts or playing guideline as you, make your own party before queueing in squad. If you only have 1 friend, well queue duo with him. If you have 2 friends, queue squad and don't fill your team. If you have 3 friends, well queue for squad and have fun.
I don't understand why they should prevent solo players from playing in a squad. That would mean only duo team can be matched together as a squad. You make it sounds like that would be much better. All I see happening is the 2 duo doing their own thing. There is an option to prevent them getting in your squad(uncheck team filling), use it.
