STILL can't get a single kill......
Heard great things about these Battle Royale games, Tried PUBG, but the graphic demands meant I could never play a single match without Lags and Stutters, heard Fortnite was Crap, so didn't even try that, Tried this game due to friend's recommendation, and because I'm somewhat familiar with the Class system thru Hi-rez's Smite -- what I'd Like to know, are ALL Battle Royale games similar to this, because I might have to Avoid/Quit playing them completly -- the Game LOOKS beautiful, I can run around, use the Horse, spend my time away from mobs of players, get 2 decent weapons, 2 skills, armor, potions, everything, yet Every Time I barely see any player, 2-3 shots and I'm dead -- even spectating doesn't help, Hard to Learn and get better when all my games are 95% run around for Minutes- die in 3 seconds -- after 4 tries I'm just plain frustrated and give up, MAYBE to try again the next day- at this point playing Less and Less- and I've Looked at guides, tips, spectating, etc ......

My final questions are --

1) are the majority of players simply experienced Battle Royale players in general??? and I have Zero Chance of ever Learning properly

2) how Long did it take for most of you to get at Least ONE Kill??? - I'm a pretty patient and mellow guy, but my frustration Level grows every time I play now

3) Should I just Plain Quit and Never Ever play any kind of Battle Royale Games at all??? - I'm at Least Decent in many types of Games, and I at Least can grab the gear and wound my opponents, usually Last until the 35-60 range, but If I can NEVER actually Kill anyone, I won't ever have fun, and there will be no point to playing- maybe I just REALLY SUCK at this type of game

Maybe it's just not your thing. First game of Realm Royale was my very first delve into this type of game at all. I finished 8th on my 3rd game... but I did instantly die my first game. The 2nd game I think I came in like 38th or something like that... but only because I stayed hidden longer :P

If it isn't enjoyable or fun in someway, I would just switch back to Smite or something else but sounds like you just need to work on being observant and read up on weapons and armor grinding.

I have only played a hand full of games all together and it's got me ranked at bronze 4... not even sure what that means :P

The short answer is yes.. most people playing this game come from pubg/ fortnite/ h1z1 as its an alpha and you have to actually look for it because they dont heavily advertise it.. so most people playing this are looking to play this style..
Land somewhere out side and work your way in.. get use to the shooting with smaller engagments and get as much armor as you can.. the idea is to create and advantage for yourself before fighting. If you land at a popular place there is a good chance youre going to die fast because its a lot of RNG.

if you want to learn just jump where a lot of people are and fight die and repeat

Avoiding people won't make you a better player 1v1 wise or 1vX. You need to keep landing crowded places and practice your aim/ strats.

Maybe that's a big part of it-- I'm assuming you want to Land mid- long range out, get a bunch of gear and potions, then look for trouble, how i usually play most games of any type-- was wondering If I should Indeed just land with a mob of people, get Stupid Lucky, then get a ton of gear, guess that's how these work- will try that more. but not sure If that's going to be satisfying in the Long-Run If It's more Luck-based- Like to play Smart

1. There are tons of hackers. Cl ear wall hacks in the game. I ran into ElieElliot who was wallhacking and lag switching. Would teleport across the screen. Also, he knew exactly where every player was. Watched him win the match I was in with ease.

2. The recent patch has made hit boxes HUGE. So if you haven't gotten your Legendary or a Rare Crossbow, you'll get destroyed if someone gets the jump on you.

This game is utter crap at the moment, but it's still in Alpha stage. The overall game is amazing for people who don't care for the building crap in Fortnite. Don't be discouraged.

If you want to learn/train your aim, you need to fight. Lumberfall is a very crowded place, so you could land there and just shoot, kill/die and repeat. After some games your aim will be much better. RR is also my first BR game and I had not played shooters for 5-7 years. It took me between 3-5 games to get my first kill. Now i can get easily top 5-10 (depending on my loot luck).

A good place to land in a crowded area is Lumberfall. Behind the forge is a place that is usually safe to loot. It is where there are 2 towers and some small building/fort inbetween. There are 2 chests beside the towers, 2 inside the building on the ground floor and a potion chest on the 1st floor.

This place often gives 1-2 weapons, armor and some abilities and you have some pots to heal up after a fight.

I DO Like Lumberfall, the Fungus forest too-- seems Like I'm at Least landing in decent spots -- Thanks all for some actually Helpful advice (good community here) -- I'll keep plugging away, but seriously, 5 games in a row and all I get is Insta-killed, I'm usually done for the day (or two)
