It's like you only can go up not down.
And do I only get matched with people of the same rank?
^If so, how am I supposed to become better? :>
Looks like paraolympics where everyone gets a medal (sooner or later) XD
your rank is determined by your BEST 50 GAMES
means once u get 50 games, ull rankup by getting higher placements or more kills, to kick the worse games out of the top50
I believe the idea is to encourage healthy and varied play. as far as i can see you only derank through inactivity/other players improving above you.
If your grinding rank all the time it gets tedious, if are good you will get good rank, if your bad you will stay bad rank. Plenty of pubg players have never won more than 1 or 2 games let alone 50, but you can win a game or two, camp top 10 for 50 games, 0.5K/D and end up 0.1% top 1k rank.... Not good.
Pubg for e.g. Good players can lose rank for hot drop early death, unlucky RNG etc. Does that make them bad player, no. They deserve their rank, it just means they can play however without risk of losing rank for some other reason than having achieved constant ground out good results in the game, every game, back to back.
It takes out the need for consistency in game results, you can try things, new places, not always cold drop to survive and end up camp city like pubg. Promotes killing people and proceeding through the game over hiding.
