Is there first person?

I dont play shooters in third simply because of the cheaty BS they have with camera advantages. So is there a game mode for first person or is this like Fortnite and is only third?

No unfortunately not yet,and there haven't been any developer posts (as far as I know ) that confirmed there will be one.

Why is it cheaty? everyone is in third person, adding an option simply gives the people that use third person an advantage.

I have never liked it. I highly dislike someone being able to watch me behind cover and wait for the moment to pop out and secure a kill. Sure i can do it too but its so irritating to me. Which is why i was asking, no point in me downloading now that i know its third person only.

not all most of them have the option for first person view pubg and h1z1 are the big games with fpp

And this company is probably just trying to rip off fortnite ..but I do hope they do add first person, but a lot of so called awesome BR players will discover very fast they will not be able to compete if its not kiddie style arcade mode ..So really don't know if we will get it or not.

Even the Fortnite pros could not cut it in other esports that did not have 3rhd person perspective ..which before Fortnite was dead and buried when it came to shooters. Man they sure lucked out as most ppl had already abadoned that old tired 3hd person halo style of gaming. Seriously doubt even one of the FN pros could make a OW league team or a CSgo team

Hi-Rez is very good at taking after another game. I agree that the games they make can be very similar to their competition, however, they do a very good job at making a polished product which is why I support other Hi-Rez games.

Hi-Rez is very good at taking after another game. I agree that the games they make can be very similar to their competition, however, they do a very good job at making a polished product which is why I support other Hi-Rez games.

I like Paladins too but let's be real they ripped off OW ..plain and simple and now they are ripping off almost verbatim Fortnite just to cash in ..this is a cash grab company and always has been.

but how they are ripping off Fortnite there is a big difference between those 2 games ! and Hi-rez is trying to make something unique than other BR games

this 'Paladins taking ideas from OW' isn't RIPOFF taking ideas from a game with the same genre is good to make the game better

Wow you don't live in the real world do you ...at least not in gaming ...PUBG came from a battle royale mod for ARMA 3 , the pubg dev workde on HZ1 king of the hill ...then Fortnite stole almost all of PUBG elements and now we have the third company to then copy like 70 percent of Fortnite and try to pass it off as original . BR is not copyrighted , but let's all be honest they are just all ripping each other off to get our cash.

I really hope they add FPP. So far I found this game fun, but playing TPP is very uncomfortable, especially since the character is not in the middle of the screen.

I would love to play if they added FPP but until then, this is a hard pass for me.
