Aimbot would be more common. I believe I came across one once. This guy wasn't a smart player but he snapped to aim and landed every AR shot to the head until I outplayed him.
I also suspect some people are landing with preferred weapons already equipped (hack). Ran into the same squad twice that had axes and bows when they landed.
But, the hacking in this game is not common at all and there's far greater issues in this game (teaming, dozens of glitches, chronic AFK, etc, etc).
Aimbots, wallhackers and alike, I never seen any.
I strongly disagree with both of you.
You have to actually sit there and spectate people for a minute or two to know for sure.
Hackers and aimbotters have pretty obvious clues to look for.
For example. Typically when someone is using a flat aimbot will INSTANTLY snap to the head/chest hit box when the mouse button or other selected button is clicked and lock there. Their cursor will INSTANTANTLY move from 1 spot to another faster than any human can physically percieve what is on the screen.
Click/trigger botting is more subtle and was designed to more closely mimic realistic player movement because you do not have to be directly "locked on" to their hitbox like with generic aimbots. It tracks their hitbox within a certain range to make it look like they aren't 100% locked to their enemies hitbox and only "snaps" to the hitbox when you use single shot or semi-auto weapons which require repeated clicks to shoot which effectively masks the hacks from the average observer.
Normal players who do not use hacks will pan their cameras quickly but there will be obvious movement of the camera and not just an instantanious movement.
No human being alive can accurately move their hand that fast and accurately after percieving whats on the screen.
Your assumption that there are no cheaters can easily be disproven based on basic human reaction time. It takes upwards of 1/4 of a second for the BRAIN to even percieve that there was something on the screen. That means from the time your eyes notice something and your brain gets that message is 1/4 second. And THEN it takes almost another 1/4 of a second for your brain to send the signal to your hands/arm to physically react to what your eyes saw.
So, in short, nobody alive can be expected to instantly move their mouse and do so accurately enough to land exactly on top of their targets hitbox. Only computers can think and react that fast.
So if you pay attention enough and watch players long enough, you start to see this in action. Over the years I have seen plenty of YouTubers and Twitch streamers who have this supposed "really fast reaction time" and its a load of bullcrap. When you understand the limitations of the human body it becomes very clear that yes, there are hackers out there.
