Sakura fantasy chapter 2?

You guys, winged cloud said it was in the works but I've heard nothing more than that, plus that was like 2 years ago. Did the project get cancelled or are you guys still working on it? I personally liked Sakura Fantasy, and I loved Sakura Sadist, I have yet to play Sakura Gamer, but you guys make great yuri games, and I guess I'm kind of a sucker for them, anyways, the more you guys pump them out the better for my growing collection lmao.

From my understanding, Fantasy didn't sell as well as they'd like so saddly it has been put on a sort of permenant hiatus.

I'm very certain Fantasy's sales had nothing to do with its content being inferior in any way - quite the contrary, it's one of WC's best games along with Dungeon and maybe Space. What I think had happened is that the hype started to reside - a lot of people bought Spirit out of curiosity, because it was a western VN with high quality art and the first in the series. But after that the audience shrank to those who actually like the series, a far lower number.

So, there really is no reason to think that Fantasy 2 would be received any worse by now. In fact, it might get better results than other recent Sakura titles.

Do you think there will be times when the writer of the series finds a new work and simultaneously writes a sequel to the existing work? - In fact, he has not written a scenario for any of the games in Winged Cloud since 2017. I wonder why he has expressed that he HAS BEEN WORKING for Winged Cloud.
