Mac Big Sur: How to fly my maps from my Android?
How do I get my custom maps into the app on my Mac (M1 Big Sur)? Created on my android phone.

Side note: The phone app can no longer see my TBS Tango 2. Any suggestions?

You need to copy the map folders from your android device.
They're usually found at:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.Freeride.FreeriderRecharged/files/
or
Internal Storage/Android/Data/com.Freeride.FreeriderRecharged/files/

If you are uncertain of the folder location, save any level (even an empty one) and take a note of the full folder path that is displayed after saving is complete.

You may need to use a good file manager (such as Solid Explorer for example) to copy them.

Place them in the correct folder on your Mac.
It can be found where you have your Steam data (steamapps/common)
The place to put the maps is:
FPVFreerider_Recharged.app / Contents
(Again, if you are uncertain of the folder location, save any level (even an empty one) and take a note of the full folder path that is displayed after saving is complete).

As for the Tango 2, I heard from another user who had problems getting his Tango 2 detected on Android.
Here's a workaround that he found:
"...so good news I finally figured out a way, which worked on both my Android Phone and the Samsung Tablet.
I downloaded an app called Gamepad Tester
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.elron.gamepadtester&hl=en_IN&gl=US
So I connect the TBS Tango 2, put it on joystick mode.
Go in this app and it will detect movement when I move the joystick. (It doesn't detect the model or anything, but it doesn't matter)
Then I open the Freerider app and voila go to calibration and it detects it.
The only issue is ( which really isn't an issue for me ), that I have to mostly do the calibration every time. Sometimes disconnect and reconnect Tango 2-3 times until the GamepadTester App detects it."

thanks for the info. Either Samsung or Google changed something and I can't seem to access the save folders now on my Note 20... it wasn't an issue on my note 5. I haven't tried a 3rd party file browser yet.

On the M1 Mac, it's a similar story. I enabled hidden files and then figured out that the contents of FPVFreerider_Recharged.app can be accessed using context-click (new to me, previously a Windows user), but since I couldn't access the files on my Note 20, it was pointless. I'll try later with my older phone.

Yes, on some phones you may need to use a 3rd party file browser.
(I think Solid Explorer usually works for example).
Otherwise, you might be able to access the folders by plugging in your phone to the computer via USB.
Seems like newer versions of operating systems are restricting their users more and more. Thanks for sharing your solution on how to access the files on your Mac.

Thanks. I thought I'd be able to use DeX using the MacBook, but it only shows what the phone would see. I haven't had a chance to try via USB with my Windows machine yet.
The good news is I was able to get the Tango II to work again with the Note 20. Since I can't say what caused the problem, it must be operator error somehow.

Glad to hear that you were able to get the Tango 2 working again, it's funny that it just kind of solved itself.

I realized it was a faulty USB cable. It's the same one I use for my phone and swapped it out. My phone charges better now too! lol
