after Manticore (spoiler)

I beat the game (well i got the credits) is there much to the game after that.

I fall down this whole and end up in the starting area again.

I liked the game but it's a bit obscure. So if the only way to find out the rest is look up guides, i'mnot interested.

I mean the map is huge and there is so much stuff to look for. I'm even mission one key item and i never knew you can teleport with the flute which i just read somewhere.

But there are doors in "the house" and this big clock. I found the stopwatch from the squirrel but i see it nowhere in my inventory.

So if you can give me a hint that keeps me going, that would be nice. If not i guess i'm done.

The stopwatch adds a timer that's viewable on the pause menu.

As for what to do next? Welcome to layer 2. I really don't know how to give a hint without just giving you a goal to work towards.

Similar to how you're tasked with the 4 flames initially, you should also continue gathering something else.

Not just those, but there are additional secret tools that can really assist you in finding the more obscure eggs.

Yea, i found 3 more key items if you count the upgrade. I also found another disc to open a path that i just stumbled upon. I totally forgot that exist or didnt even knew it was a thing. (at the very beginng)

I cant find the other cicular object to open the other path.

I also need to find a few more candles.

I get the idea. But i don't think there is any way i'll ever find all of it without guides, which would of course also include to doublecheck the eggs you already have because you will not remember every egg.

I'm at 44 egg rn.

I dont think i can be bothered to check for more. The map is so hard to look at after some time and some areas i dont even know how to get back there. Like the bubble fish hub, or whatever you wanna call it. I suspect there is more to that area as well.

EDIT: i made it to 47 and run into a lot of unintuitive stuff i'll never figure out myself. Feels like following a questline in a souls game.

It was fun, but i'm done.

Agree on the map being hard to look at after a while. Couldn’t even finish the game. Once I lit all four flames and realised there is a whole set of puzzles I needed to solve, I was out. Game became very exhausting and I got bored with it after that.

I just rolled credits with 48 eggs and still have 2 gaps in my inventory??? And while it was fun, I feel like I'm no closer to understanding what the hell the story is with this game than before I started. Going to take a break for now, see if I feel like coming back to look for those eggs to see if the game coughs up any answers.

Yea, it just feel like this is something completionist would do.

I never care for this in any other game either.
