I got softlocked

Tried getting all the eggs but for some reason this on evaded me.
It's the egg in the room next to the ostrich on the wheel. When I played that room I didn't need to press the buttons to free the ostrich, it just kinda, got freed. Now the blocks are blocking my way and I can't press the buttons to unlock the door to the egg.

This is super frustrating, is there a way to somehow fix this or do I need to replay the entire game to do this?

You're not softlocked. You'll be able to get the egg eventually.

It is (nearly?) impossible to softlock yourself in this game because of how death mechanics works. If you can't proceed then you just haven't found something yet.

Or maybe you have missed you speedrun time or died too often .
