Ostrich Soft Lock!!

I didn't finish the Golden Egg puzzle and left the room.

Then I killed the Ostrich, and now the blocks are unresponsive and I cant reach the left room to move them with the Wheel.

I'm missing the Golden Egg now.

If you continue playing the game, you will eventually find an item which will help you out here. That chest does seem unreachable right after you've dealt with the Ostrich, but it'll open up for you eventually. (I'm actually not even sure if that egg is reachable without that extra item; I think that while the ostrich is alive, the block movements probably prevent you from getting to the second button.)

I have 12 items. I'm not able to reach it with the bubble wand.

What item should I be looking for? Is there a newgame+ item?

Oh pff, I totally didn't notice you already mentioned the Wheel up there. Nah, there's no items but the 12 that I'm aware of. Supernovato might have already responded to this (their comment is "awaiting analysis by our automated content check system" at the moment so I'm not sure if my response will be redundant) -- there is a hidden passageway against the left wall next to where the Ostrich Wheel used to be mounted, which provides access to that room. No equipment at all is required to actually get into the room; just gotta jump into the right bit of wall.

I think I solved this section in a different way than the intended way using the bubble wand I'm unable to get the blocks moving again (if thats even an option) and the buttons are inaccessible. Pretty sure this is a softlock. https://i.imgur.com/9DGIORV.jpeg

ok for those who still want to find out but are stumped you have to find all the cat codes, the find THE wheel (not the pin wheel)

Same thing happened to me yesterday after i defeated the ostrich i couldnt access the two yellow switches in the room to the left. I assume this is by game design and ill be able to do it later

Can confirm the block spacing prevents you from getting both switches while the blocks are moving
