This is incorrect. This puzzle requires a different tool. Maybe one that's not even in the game.

sorry for the mistake, I got mixed up. there is indeed a chest nearby that requires the top to open.

You just got to the part of the game where I gave up on trying to figure things out by myself. Having played Tunic only a few months ago I'm kinda burnt out of this ARG stuff. Can I just have my RE1,2,3 and Silent Hill type of puzzles back?

You can find solutions to this puzzle by google searching for "Mama Cha Figurine Song" because that's what's inside the chest.
I'm all for puzzles that force you to write something down on a piece of paper or unlock codes with a cipher key, but I totally get why a lot of players would think deciphering a bar code was a bit much, and they just want to look up the code online.
