Quacking Duck flute song?

I think I am on the right track with the quacking duck near the center of the map, but I can't figure out the right notes to hit. Am I in the right spot, or can someone give me a hint to help figure it out?

I have found the sad face and happy face mural but not sure how this translates to flute sounds. I've tried up and down corresponding with smiling or frowning, and reverse that but no luck. I'll take a hint if you're willing!!

There's a cipher for the faces in the 'skulls' = deaths room after the manticore; It basically reads as Up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right. Play that in front of the duck and it turns into a rabbit.

that's actually close lol. you'll eventually get it just messing with the different combinations. but for the real solution there's a cipher elsewhere in the map. you'll know when you see it. three part puzzle basically

Wait a minute… You play this in front of the duck, right? Well before I knew anything, it turned into a rabbit for me and freaked me the f out. I had no idea how or why except that I now realize I would play random notes like the Konami Code around the map to pass the time. So it turned into a rabbit because I played this code by accident!?

YES congrats, and to be fair the code is eerily similar to the konami code.

the drawing next to the code is meant to be seen as either a duck or a rabbit depending on how you look at it insinuating the duck is the rabbit.

I didn't realize it was supposed to be a duck in that mural. I thought it was supposed to be a crow. I decoded the song and didn't know what to do with it. I wasted so much time playing it for crows!
