Kind of out of places to check in the post game

i know i'm missing a ton, but i'm genuinely out of places to check. anything big you can find with the lantern i'm maybe missing? there were plenty of dark places. also still missing a match somewhere. and i've heard theres an advanced bubble wand but no idea where that is

I suppose comb the map as much as you can, mark every stray pixel in the "outline" for secret places and passages. Other than that, fishing for eggs is still good especially since the reward you get for 32 eggs collected is actually super useful for breaking certain floors.

Tip for advanced bubble wand: It's near the end of the game/first layer. . Advanced advanced bubble wand tip: it's to the left of your house behind a secret wall. You will need to have done something a LOT during your playthrough. Also make note of a certain detail on the right hand side of that room... . The bubble wand doesn't really help a whole lot though, just making it easier to bubble jump and allowing you to make hummingbirds lose their vocal chords

Since I don't know which matches you have gotten I can't really give you a hint on where to find the last one.

My advice on what to do next is to find circular recesses of which there are 3 and filling them with medallions .

The following tips are how to find those if you want help, but i recommend trying to do so on your own first. Its just nice to know that they're there.

Your experience with matches sounds similar to mine. I found most of them fairly easily but got very frustrated trying to find the last one - only to find it in a shockingly obvious spot I'd overlooked many times. I'd suggest looking near the beginning of the game. Maybe look for a small undiscovered area on your map in the room with the crank.

What is the significance of the candles? Are they important?
Maybe there is something somewhere in the game that has been keeping track of how many you have lit. It's near the starting area. Return there after lighting all the candles.
