[SPOILERS] 2nd clock?

I was going around the bunny island and came across a 2nd grandfather clock . Is this a known thing? I'd love to know more about it. I'm no speed runner so I doubt I'll ever do it myself.

The second clock is indeed known about (I don't know how BROADLY it's know, but it IS known) and is a second checkmark for speedrunners . I don't know exactly what's in it, but similar to the first one there are little rewards behind each of the doors.

the 1st clock you have to reach within its given time frames (as indicated by the UV lights), 2nd clock is the same, you have to reach it within its given time frame, however its a bit more generous since you have to get so many eggs (only 32 if your sick with it). Im pretty sure the fastest times for the main is 30 and the 2nd is 90. the longest times are like 4-7 hours so its a nice challenge if you dont want to lab the run but still feel confident in the game. (that being said using a bit of wrong warping a 15 min time is very very doable, even to a novice so if the challenge is interesting is suggest giving it a shot)

you can make the run faster by not killing the first manticore. instead using it as the portal. thus not needing all 64 eggs but you would still need the bouncy ball and remote.

You mean the 2nd grandfather clock is doable in 15 minutes?? How? Can’t find a speedrun for this one on YouTube. Just used a video to get the info under 30 minutes for the first ending

Wrong warping is practically cheating. Can't you just edit the time in the save file or something?
I was hoping to do some speedruns of this game, but now that i know you need eggs for that, i think i'll pass...
Loved the idea of just finding out how to get the tools i need asap and then getting there quickly with the knowledge you gained while playing the game. But i am NOT going to look for THAT many eggs again!

And thinking about a bit more now... You can't even get to the first clock without the lamp, can you?

Man... the dev certainly encouraged speedrunning, and then made sure that all the fun is taken out of the speedrun... what is this? Nintendo?
