(with the UV light on) Starting in the egg room, go down to the 4 flames room, go 1 room to the right, go up the ladder, 1 room right, 1 room up, 1 room left into the kangaroo statues room, down the waterfall, down the ladder again, and back towards the egg room. I repeated this path like 3 times, and eventually caught the UV bunny in the main room.
(I've heard of people catching the bunny in the kangaroo room, that's why I included that to my path)
I'm pretty certain this isn't the full path that the bunny travels, but it helped me out instead of just sitting around in the main room.
Also, side note, the bunny is pretty hard to miss when you run into it, in case there was any doubt that you're not looking in the right spot. Hope that helps!
Go to the beacon hub room.
Just barely go into the next room on the right.
There are two steps directly in front of you.
Take out your UV wand and make sure it's turned on.
Now switch to your disc.
Jump upwards and throw the disc to the right almost simultaneously - you're aiming for your disc to be travelling towards the top step while you're in the upwards portion of your jump.
Almost immediately after throwing the disc, go to your inventory to pause time.
Select your UV wand.
Close the inventory.
Land on the disc as it bounces back towards you.
If done right, you should now be bouncing back and forth across the beacon room, except you also have your UV light switched on. As soon as the bunny arrives, you will catch it.
Leave the game running like this for a few minutes and you should get it.
Collecting a bunny triggers an auto-save; the game remembers you have the bunny even if you die or quit the game immediately after without saving, but will still load you at your last save point.
So running back and forth, while looking out for the bunny does the trick.
Warning though, you will have to actively attempt to run and JUMP into the bunny, as it is a somewhat tight window to actually catch it.
Specifically, on may 27, a note says : "Fixed a certain entity sometimes appearing in a space it was not supposed to"
and on june 3, another says : "A certain creature can now walk on water".
Can't say if it's the UV bunny for sure but it would explain why I can't find it with the disk strat.
