Billy Basso isn't the kind of person to lie about this. But we've already found a "congratulations you've found the craziest thing" message from him and Dan Adelman saying such. There's also a donkey.

They didn't expect anyone to find it till Animal Well 2.

It took a week or so. There might be a few things we haven't seen but the BIG THING is solved. TBF there was some brute forcing along the way but it's not likely to matter, according to Mr Basso himself.

So, for anyone making a crazy puzzle game... good luck on keeping it unsolved without some crazy Kryptos level nonsense.
