Bunny mural (minor mid-game? spoilers)

I have the top & I used it next to the bunny mural to reveal the control panel and the combination underneath. Do I have to draw over the bunny mural, I really like it & don't want to destroy it unless I have to

To get the secret bunny from it you have to draw a whole new picture.

Is it possible to draw the whole picture included here without the door opening?
I've stared at this for about 5 minutes comparing it to mine and the door is still closed.
