no idea, but i love that the only thing stopping me riding bubbles up the well is a humming bird.

when u get all the items and all the eggs explore the final area more, like where the final fight begins to the end, then u will find out

If you can find another entrance further up the well, you can get up that way. Need another item to get any further though.
