I also recommend opening your inventory to change items or to take a minute to think about what you need to do next.
I guess I skipped that whole chase by getting the item early.
You didn't put the mock disc into the cat shrine then?
We aren't talking about the ghost wolf in the dog area?
And I had the Mock Disc before going to the wolf head shrine that had the real Disc.
So when i got the real Disc I never got chased.
Edit: Scratch what I said before.
I think I know the part you did and it actually wasn't that bad lol.
OP, I kept making the mistake of running and then trying to perform the teleport song. You have to stay in the room where you take the m. disc and proc the ghost chase for the teleport song to work.
I will say, I had success with ignoring the crank room all together during the long run to the flame shrine.
Yeah dude repeatedly cycling through 9 or however many subtools, some of which are mandatory for movement and some of which are visual only, while the entire rest of the controller is unused is actually optimal and not tedious. Love the game but blind defence is moronic.
