3 Cats in a cage puzzle help please

I've figured out that the flute lights up the panels on the roof (by accident lol) so I'm assuming it's a code I have to put in using the flute.

here's a picture of my map so far I haven't been any further up and the drop in the fish area on the left is cut off a bit: https://imgur.com/a/bW5UBKb Any hints? Did I miss something? I MUST SAVE THE KITTIES!!! Thanks!

It's the save room on the way to the seahorse flame; down from it is a room where you have to bounce water into a bowl, and left from that is a room with a bobcat statue.

How do you turn on the fan in the ostrich flame room in order to be able to read the code in its ceiling?

I managed to get it with a bit of trial and error:
In the ostrich flame room go to the right most platform, then drop the slinky into the water to the right of it.

oh yeesh! that's it alright.... but how was anyone supposed to find that?? Doesn't seem to be hinted anywhere...
Anyway, I got up there just by spamming upgraded bubble wand in the end, although the hidden switch is definitely way easier if you know about it.

I brute-forced this with the normal bubble wand and looked this up for my friend, and this sucks as a solution, tbh. I saw the platform on the map, but it didn't react to a yoyo, so why would it only react to a slinky? Inconsistent rules.

I had to be sick with it and just keep jumping and putting bubble below me slowly gaining height. You can use the frisbee to give you a head start but ya give er your best shot
