Similar to Rain World?
Having a hard time sifting through all of the meme reviews by kids who will probably refund the game. How does it compare to Rain World? Not quite sure what to expect.

It's got some similar vibes to Rain World, but it's really a fairly traditional puzzle platformer with Metroid-style progression.

Good to know, thanks for the info. Saw the two games being mentioned together and was curious.

As a huge Rain World fan, I see why the comparison has been made. It's definitely not as unforgiving as Rain World, but it does have its moments (or maybe I'm just terrible at the game). It's not really a "if you enjoyed Rain World, you'll enjoy this" type of game, but as the other commenter mentioned, the two are on a similar wavelength. You're not necessarily trying to survive in this game and you most likely won't sink as many hours into this game, but I'm enjoying it very much.

it's definitely in the same vein, both in tone, aesthetic, and in the dev's willingness to let you figure it all out yourself. but animal well isn't setting out to simulate an ecosystem. would still heavily recommend it if you love rain world.

I barely played it but it gives off Rain World vibes for sure in its presentation.
My whole first hour it felt and sounded like I was going through the Depths almost.
