Or because it's a pretty good game that can be short but has a ton of optional content (50+ hours from reviews), and has been in development for 7 years? Plenty of other indie games out there with similar pricing.
Did you even look at what you get in Hades 2 early access?
Its More content than the first game.
Ah yes, so you new to indie games right? 90% of them cost around 20$. All of the indie games i bought recently cost more or less the same: Indika, Another Crab Treasure, Bears in Space, Crow Country, Tales of Zendera: ZAU, etc...
Also, the youtuber thing doesn't matter at all, the game is receiving positive reviews because its damn good, that simple.
So you listed two games that are outliers as far as game time. How about the rest of the thousands of indie games?
