The underwater buttons are all marked on the map.
The Clock and skulls rooms. Unfortunately finding out they're unobtainable. Really not a fan of that type of puzzle
I think some eggs where they were hiding in plain sight and the map was useless on finding them. Like Toad statue area for example. Can't think of other examples, but just a general nudge on which map screen it was on was all I needed.
The last instructions for the final puzzle. These were so hidden, that I never experienced or knew of their existence. Not even a single hint pointing to it too. I think a nice nudge would've been to give an example of its existence in the office or just your home.
Had to look up the last 2 eggs. One was the same one ddchk posted above, the other was the breakout game, which was in a spot I just never thought to check again to find it.
Found most of the bunnies with hints but some (like the vines and mural) I would have quite simply never solved if I didn't spoil it. All in all I believe I found 6 bunnies with no help at all, and 4 or 5 completely spoiled.
The BDTP puzzle I would have never figured out. But honestly at that point I had spent enough time trying to find the last few things and wanted to move on to getting the speed run rewards so didn't care about spoilers anymore.
Then looked up the eggs when I had 7 left, and also looked up most of the bunnies (I think I had like 5~7 of them).
There is some stuff where I guessed the solution but looked it up to confirm anyway, and cause I didn't wanna go through all the trial and error ttouble.
looking back, none of the bunnies really involved anything subtle. no squinting at the background, counting statues, etc. like the ghost dog bunny was right on screen. the map stamp bunny was pretty blatant since they're the same icons as the map stamps. even the floor-is-lava one was signposted since there's a part of the room you can't get to. the save file tunes puzzle stumped me since i saw it at the beginning of the game, but by the end it just made sense to look for something so crazy as the notes your pod makes when it opens.
i disliked the mural; it made me nervous to look up the solution to that one without spoiling myself on any others, and it cast suspicion on the puzzles i hadn't solved that they might be community puzzles, too.
all the other puzzles had just the right amount of hints in the game to make them so rewarding to solve. i'm sad it's over!
well i guess i could try speedrunning anyway. yuck.
