(Spoiler-ific) How far did you get before you looked something up?
I solved the warp room fish puzzle on my own and felt good. I was wracking my brain over the arrows at the bottom right of the map and by complete accident I used my flute in a room with the cats - that felt damn good. After staring at the screen for about ten seconds and making the connection that the button that raises a block is always in the same room, I was able to get the underwater slinky button at the far end of the seahorse room, and I felt like a genius. When I solved the jellyfish puzzle after you get the UV light in one try I felt like the smartest man alive.

Then I spent an hour looking for my 10 remaining eggs, and after determining I was thoroughly stuck, I started looking things up. I didn't feel too smart then... I don't think I could have gotten most of the rabbits myself, although I kick myself for not even really trying.

I think I only had 2 Bunnies left. The Mural One and the Map One. By the time I saw the credits for the 1st time I only had 4 eggs left to find and they all needed a specific item I didn't have yet to find.

The underwater buttons are all marked on the map.

Only 2 of the bunny's I couldn't figure out. The Mural, which I was fine with spoiling cause I didn't know it was a community effort puzzle. The 2nd bunny was the The floor is lava, because I had no clue that was what needed to be done. Thought it would've been some hidden switch or mechanic involving off screen switch activation

The Clock and skulls rooms. Unfortunately finding out they're unobtainable. Really not a fan of that type of puzzle

I think some eggs where they were hiding in plain sight and the map was useless on finding them. Like Toad statue area for example. Can't think of other examples, but just a general nudge on which map screen it was on was all I needed.

The last instructions for the final puzzle. These were so hidden, that I never experienced or knew of their existence. Not even a single hint pointing to it too. I think a nice nudge would've been to give an example of its existence in the office or just your home.

I caved around 54 eggs. When you have zero leads it gets really tiresome wandering around the entire well for the 14th until you eventually stumble upon something. In hindsight I could have gotten a little further if I knew what kind of clues to look for. My biggest suggestion is to REALLY look at inconsistencies in the map. At least for eggs there is usually something you could spot in advance. I also could have been spamming the radio and/or UV light more, but I was already getting too impatient near the end.

Didn't use a guide until I was down to the last few eggs. Had like 60 of them, but the last few were mostly hidden behind those weird blocks that are almost impossible to tell apart from normal tiles, which is dumb because you're somehow supposed to know that the Ball breaks them. Kangaroo room is badly tutorialized IMHO..

I got every egg except 1. I had to use a guide for the egg where you have to play the flute to make turtles appear. This one seemed to be divisive on whether it was intuitive or not.

Needed to look up the last caged lynx code, it was in a spot I'd looked in once (before I knew what I was looking at) and just never thought to check there again.

Had to look up the last 2 eggs. One was the same one ddchk posted above, the other was the breakout game, which was in a spot I just never thought to check again to find it.

Found most of the bunnies with hints but some (like the vines and mural) I would have quite simply never solved if I didn't spoil it. All in all I believe I found 6 bunnies with no help at all, and 4 or 5 completely spoiled.

The BDTP puzzle I would have never figured out. But honestly at that point I had spent enough time trying to find the last few things and wanted to move on to getting the speed run rewards so didn't care about spoilers anymore.

I looked up how to get the kangaroo medal.
Then looked up the eggs when I had 7 left, and also looked up most of the bunnies (I think I had like 5~7 of them).

There is some stuff where I guessed the solution but looked it up to confirm anyway, and cause I didn't wanna go through all the trial and error ttouble.

Got most eggs solo. Never could really figure out circular recesses at all since I somehow never seemed to find any medal

I got everything except 1) the frisbee jump bunny (didn't know the disc could do that!) 2) the floor-is-lava bunny 3) the mural bunny 4) the vines bunny (totally invisible on my screen) and 5) the path to the audio capsule (involves speedrunning, not my thing). but the other 12 bunnies, all 65 eggs, and BDTP (bunny direction transport protocol?!) all just took a lot of thought.

looking back, none of the bunnies really involved anything subtle. no squinting at the background, counting statues, etc. like the ghost dog bunny was right on screen. the map stamp bunny was pretty blatant since they're the same icons as the map stamps. even the floor-is-lava one was signposted since there's a part of the room you can't get to. the save file tunes puzzle stumped me since i saw it at the beginning of the game, but by the end it just made sense to look for something so crazy as the notes your pod makes when it opens.

i disliked the mural; it made me nervous to look up the solution to that one without spoiling myself on any others, and it cast suspicion on the puzzles i hadn't solved that they might be community puzzles, too.

all the other puzzles had just the right amount of hints in the game to make them so rewarding to solve. i'm sad it's over!

well i guess i could try speedrunning anyway. yuck.

I agree that the knowledge that one of the bunny puzzles was a community puzzle that was solved on release by redditors with early access was quite disheartening, as well as making me unsure of whether I would encounter other situations where a puzzle was actually not solvable on its own.
