Does the mural in the top right not have any meaning?

I've tried playing the song written on the wall in the room all the way in the top right a ton of different ways and it still isn't resulting in anything. Am I missing something?

It does, the clue is the image on the left.

As a hint, that image is not actually an original design unique to this game.

I was confused by the mural as well, the image to the left is of a fairly well-known illusion.
If you would like a hint as to what the illusion means hover over the spoiler text:
One of the possible interpretations of the illusion will let you know where you need to play the song you deciphered.
