Sorry to hear that you are suffering from lagging and stuttering.
Thank you for sharing your system specs also. If you have yet to, please do try the low latency mode advised by INFPlanet.
Additionally please try the steps here: {LINK REMOVED}https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/connectivity-and-performance/article/troubleshooting-technical-issues-on-pc/000061047
Should the issue continue after this please let us know.
Thank you.

The low latency setting helped me a bit, especially against stuttering. but the lag is still present in villages, towns and fortresses and sometimes in the wilderness.
As suggested by Ubisoft. Make sure all non essential programs, services, and tasks are disabled from starting with PC.
How are your temps? Make sure PC is all clean. Check thermals and you may want to reapply paste on CPU/GPU for cooler temps.
I would also recommend you run DDU. This will completely clean out your display driver and remove any issues or conflicts from previous ones. Ensuring a clean install of new driver.
So download latest NVIDIA display driver and DDU [www.wagnardsoft.com]. Disconnect or disable internet connection. Extract DDU. Restart PC in safe mode and run DDU. Once clean reboot in normal mode. Install driver. Once installed successfully reboot PC even if not prompted. There is also a guide in link and tells you what DDU is/does.
Once all that is done enable internet again and run Odyssey to see if it helps.
You can also set Texture Filtering - Quality to Performance in NVIDIA control panel. That will help give a bit of a boost.
If that still doesnt help you may want to reinstall windows. Spare drive if you got it to troubleshoot and test. Make sure to delete the partition on the drive to ensure a clean install.
Sometimes the file structure of O/S just gets bad when a lot of things get installed or removed. It happens and a fresh install of windows usually helps improve things overall.
Just make sure to install all up to date drivers and chipsets when doing so. Do not install anything else and try Odyssey. See if you have better performance.
