Cloud Save Issues
So I played Odyssey a couple nights ago I manually saved the game and when I opened it today it asked me if I wanted to choose between cloud save or local, I picked cloud (pretty sure) and now it's only giving me saves that were made last month.

Does anyone know a way to fix this please?

It's Steam that asked, not the game?

If you played recently on same computer where you launch the game, and you know you don't care of old saves you don't remind much, then your local files are always right and then always use local to answer the question. (counter cases are games with many characters you never stop play as some Diablo like).

Otherwise, don't use Steam offline to start a game, and ensure you are connected. Select the game in your library and ensure Steam shows it is cloud synch before launch the game. Then only you can go offline in client or without internet connection.

Now you should be synch with your computer where you play, so you shouldn't have the problem again if you don't use two devices to play the same game.

If it's a game message, I don't know.

So I launched the game from the Steam launcher, but the question for switching to either local or cloud came from a Ubisoft box. But you said start steam offline then try the game? I manually saved it before quitting last time I played.
Ubisoft seems also manage cloud save, so it seems you got a garbage here, I only commented Steam cloud without realizing the game wasn't really on Steam.

So don't bother on Steam offline or not it's not the problem, it seems ubi cloud didn't synch before you did your first session, I don't have much experience with this Ubi cloud, can't comment it.
Ubisoft games use ubisoft cloud system, no matter if you got them on steam.

It can take up to a minute or more after you exit the game for the data to actually make it to the 'cloud'. Be sure to wait.

Hey there,

As mentioned by MF above it can take a short period of time for the save to be synced to the cloud. I would also mention that if the game isn't closed properly it can cause this to occur so please ensure that you're exiting the game from the menu.

You mentioned the cloud saves are months old, were you playing offline for a period of time or had you disabled or only recently enabled cloud saves in the Ubisoft Connect client perhaps?
