Game breaking bug (Artifact Fragments)

I noticed over the course of a few days that Artifact Fragments aren't saving for me after patch 1.03. I've killed a few cultists, saved, and reloaded that save (closing the game and starting it back up) and the cultist is still dead but I have 0/22 fragments. Great...

Do you get the pop-up that you are collecting them when you kill a Cultist? Do you get the other loot, the legendaries and clues?

Quick summary of response below, long version under that;

All loot pop-ups appear correctly.
All loot saves correctly, except artifact fragments.
Character level 41 - Spear Level 5
Killed several cultists, saved, closed game and loaded save next night. Loot still there except fragments.
Killed cultist, 1/22 fragments. Saved. Loaded again, 0/22 fragments. Loot still available, cultist dead on menu screen, no fragment still.
Loaded previous save with Spear Level 3, killed cultist, 4/7 fragments that save after closing game application.

My only concern at the moment is if the fix will be retroactive or not. I'm terrified to continue the main quest because I'm getting to the point where the Peloponnesian League branch is coming up and I don't want to get screwed out of maxing out the spear. So I have to either stop playing until patched, or avoid doing Family and Cult content until a patch hits.

Did that last night, case number 07201172. They're also asking me to upload my save there, but for whatever reason it won't let me actually upload it stating unsupported file type. Anything specific I should do?

I did, but not here. It was on the official forums. A few of us got together and think we figured out what happened. If you have more than the required amount or have enough to skip spear upgrade levels, the game essentially "Freaks out" and stop properly tracking the fragment count. It does track what your supposed to have (just like it does for ability points to prevent cheating) but skipping or hoarding throws that system off. If you ONLY upgrade when you have the EXACT amount needed, the problem won't appear. My second save is working completely as intended by doing just that. You might have to go back to an older save from before the problem. You'll probably lose a ton of progress, but at least the game won't be bugged anymore.

Guys i dont know if i can ask here but what heppens to me its that it pop-ups saying that im having 2 less than the ones that i really have right now im 1/22 but when i took the last one it said 8/9, its possible that i will miss an achievment or something like for this? I have 21 Cultits left so tecnically i will get the 22 for the last upgrade

Glad to see this is still being looked at. Hopefully this can be fixed (and retroactively too since my primary save was with Alexios and my secondary, which is now primary, is with Kassandra) soon. Any other things we should look into trying? Not sure exactly how the Spear Upgrade tally works, but with a bit more inside info, the community may be able to help troubleshoot enmasse to bring on a speedy fix.

Hey where i can upload the my save file? Right now i'm with Deianeria a cultist member and when i kill her it popups that i have 5/9 of the artifact fragments but actually its 2/22 (I have 20 cultist members left to kill after killing her so tecnically my artifacts left are good I'm not missing any of them) it's more about what popups and says, so what i want to know is if this affects me for any achievement or getting my 100% or something when i kill them all? thats my concern
