The Wild Hunt Quest

I finished the The Wild Hunt Quest go talk to Akatos and it then just does not finish. I can not advance further. It has the The Wild Hunt with nothing underneath it in the top left. I've reloaded multiple times and even replayed it in case the save was corrupted. Too bad because this series of quests seem fun.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with this, when you reload your save, do you have any even further back you can use to see if it persists from there too?

Unfortunately I went ahead and finished the Legacy of the Blade DLC last night so can't go further back anymore without redoing that as well. It may just be a lost cause at this point. I just don't know why it won't trigger the end of the quest. Is there a way to quit those quest series and restart it entirely? If not, it may just have to stay unfinished.

You aren't able to quit and restart quests on Odyssey i'm afraid. This is a side quest chain which won't block you out of any story progress or unique items.

Could you send some footage of what happens when you try to complete the quest? Have you tried verifying your files too just on the off chance something is corrupted with that quest line?

Same exact issue. Finish gathering 7 Deer Neck meats, run back to Akatosh, have conversation, then quest does not complete. Still says 'talk to akatosh'.

Its not the files, they don't need verified, sorta tired of seeing this same answer as a potential fix supplied.

BTW - Fix is mentioned elsewhere. Save (create a new one just in case) exit the game and re-oen it and the quest completes automatically.

Hey Enkidu98, the reason we offer verifying game files as a potential fix is there are many instances that it provides a solution, whether files are corrupted and as a result (somehow) aren't allowing in game progress to update or otherwise. I know it can be tiresome to see the same troubleshooting steps wherever you go, but we would hate to miss something that might genuinely help :)

That being said, beccajunkmail did the solution given by Enkidu98 help at all?

That may have been it. I came back after the last update and tried to finish the quest again and this time it worked :) Thanks for the help.
