This sometimes happens with quests when you have already completed the next objective before getting the quest. I'll report it to the game team so it can be looked into further.
Thanks for letting us know.

Hippokrates commented on my choice to go deal with Mydon/Chrysis and that because Alexios took so long, Hippokrates' patient died - So it seems like the game script accounts for doing the quests in that order and it might not be a bug.
That said, it's really unclear to the player that Ashes to Ashes will show up belatedly upon progressing the Hippokrates questline further.
Probably safe to close this one out.

ive spent 104 hours keepin clearing the map hoping to get the mainstory going on but didnt work.
i did the mistake, i guess, that i didnt interact with the altar of apollo first before heading to the baby and then the quest disappeared.
Perikles is leader in his house without option to speak with him. There is nothing in altar of athena or anywhere else.
The game is just broken beyond believe and imo the devs should have never gone over their heads with a huge map and story like this time- please fix this issue - i cant continue to chapter 6 and i dont want to have wasted 104 hours of my precious time
