We cant know what is causing a crash without looking into it please create a support ticket with the requested files so that we can look into it.
- Ubisoft Support
Just know that that is exactly what I have been doing for 3.5 weeks with 9+ different ppl from your support team and it has achieved NOTHING!
In fact your support team had to create a second case because my first one was FULL of dxdiag/msinfo/screenshot attachments SMH
My computer is well above the minimum specs, it is in not an exotic configuration:
Corsair One Pro
Win 10 home latest drivers, running as a clean boot admin user with all non-MS services disabled
reccomended versions of directX/.net etc
Steam/ACO/Uplay executables all set to run as admin
Game & play installed in default location on C: SSD
i7 7700K with no overclocking, 16GB ram
GTX1080 latest drivers, onboard intel GFX 630 disabled
No bluetooth enabled
other heavy titles are rock solid/never crash, MonsterHunterWorld, Tekken 7, SC6 etc etc
all the evidence points towards ubisoft changing the software in a way that causes these crashes

All this is true.
If i could revert to patch 1.0.6 or if they could find the issue thats causing the random CTD i'd be a happy camper.
P.S. I've tried everything from testing it with nvidia drivers 399 to 417, fresh game install, fresh uplay install, etc. Nothing seems to really completely fix the issues.
WIth that said, this rig blows most games out of the water. But when it comes to this game, 5 to 20 mins and game crash to desktop. Like everyone else. I'm not sure what else is going on in the game, (as I'm sure everyone else can say) but Windows doesn't even show any type of event logging for these crashes. Just start up crash.
My CPU isn't even being touch, maybe 60 to 80% load. This game is more GPU for me. Capping it at 80 to 100% at times. But! I can knock that down but running at Low settings and get to 50 to 60% load on the GPU but still crashing after 5 to 20 minutes.
My point being... after all my testing, turning OC off, windows/fullscreen, 1440 to 1080, low to high settings and even trying just one monitor. Everything still crashes this game. Is there something I'm missing in my testing?
And it won't run now, it crashes at startup, or shortly afterwards.
I have no idea what the problem is, it ran fine before but nothing now.
I uninstalled it, help is nonexistent, they just keep referring you back troubleshooting. I emailed support, absolutely no reply whatsoever, it's been weeks. This is the only game on uplay I've ever had problems with.
