Game Crashes right after entering Elysium

Hi Guys. I have the game on Uplay, but I rather choose this community to seek help to my really annoying problem. So:
I'have just start the Fate of Atlantis DLC. My game crash, after the loading screen that I got as I enter the first simulation (Part 1. Elysium). I did not get any error message, the game just close itself. I did reinstall my VGA drivers, set everything default, uninstall every other software such as MSI afterburner. Nothing helped. Is there anybody facing the same problem? Is there any solutions?

My specs:
i7-6700k
RX 5700 XT with the latest Adrenalin
16gb (2x8) 2400 mhz ram
Win 10 1905 (or the hell is the code of the latest version)

Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. 5700XT here. I get constant flashes as soon as the game starts, straight on from the logos and it seems to pause at the 'checking for additional content' screen.

I had same problem and found out u have to turn off V-sync :D
PS Its hard to change it without geting epilepsy, but its possible XD

Not sure if this info will be useful, but I did a hardware swapping experiment here regarding Elysium and the Fate of Atlantis DLC regions and found some interesting results. I am also running an RX5700XT and also see the crash to desktop when entering Elysium.

I swapped an old nVidia GTX970 back into my system and then played through everything in the Elysium realm and then beelined the story to open up the 2nd and 3rd realms (portals) in the Fate of Atlantis DLC and created a manual save. Then I swapped my RX5700XT back into my PC, loaded up the manual save and found the following:

After switching back to the RX5700XT:
1. Realm 1 (Elysium): Entering Elysium portal still crashes to desktop
2. Realm 2 (Underworld): Can enter realm portal and play with RX5700XT
3. Realm 3 (Atlantis): Can enter realm portal and play with RX5700XT

So, it seems that only the Elysium realm has the RX5700XT crash problem, as far as I can see. Unfortunately you must play through Elysium first to unlock the other realms, but once you have unlocked them it seems that they run fine with the RX5700XT (well, at least on my system, that is).

On a side note, much to my surprise the GTX970 was able to run AC:Odyssey at 1080p on High preset with only shadows and clouds turned down to Medium and I was getting 50-60FPS. So, even though it didn't look as good as the RX5700XT it was decent enough. (I'm running RX5700XT at 2560x1440 on Very High preset)

I bought 5700xt a week before and having the same problem.
I am shocked how much ubisoft sucks on this matter, not having fixed for months!!! Is ubisoft a indie game company??

So basically the only way to fix this is by making lots of noise so they have to aknowlegde this.Lets start making noise boys wherever you can,twitter facebook maybe inform your favorite youtubers,whwtever may help.

I tested this possible solution on an RX5700XT and it makes no difference, still get crash to desktop when attempting to enter Elysium regardless of whether V-sync is on or off. (unfortunately)

Extract it and you get "dxvk-1.4.4.tar", you have to extract this one as well.

\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Now the game crash at start lol
Tryed the x32 as well and crash at the loading on the portal again

For me it's placed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assassins Creed Odyssey\

Do note that DXVK does not work if you have RivaTuner Statistics Server installed on your system (comes with MSI Afterburner). Also, the 32-bit DLLs have no effect at all since the game is 64-bit only.

I got it to run once, and aside from stuttering a little the fix really did work.... Then i closed the game, and tried to restart it. It crashed at the desktop every time since then. I tried admin mode. It's still more than Ubi has done. I don't think they will fix it to be honest.

that dxvk file does not work for me! what happens is the screen flickers like crazy, I'm talking seizure robot kinda stuff lol. FPS stutters and VRAM is maxed. I got it to run, but it is obviously unplayable when your screen is a friggin strobe light and the game is running at low FPS.
