Stuck out of ship in the ocean [RESOLVED]

Hey, just wondering if anyone else came into this, I just got done boarding a boat then after getting off of it, for some reason it dove me into the water and now I cannot get back on my ship. Any fixes or just go back a save?

I wasn't able to replicate this issue, because as this happened another bandit ship came after me so couldn't quick save, didn't try regular saving. After I reloaded my save it took me back before I was getting attacked by bandit ships. Was able to successfully progress, loving it so far, much better than Origins :)
