Issue with download and installation

So,

I pre-ordered the game and downloaded it around three days ago. Today, when I tried to launch the game, things started to get quite funky. The game was stuck at download 100%, when I tried to launch the game it would say that it was allocating disk space or something like that and the process ETA would continue to extend.

I've tried uninstalling, re-installing, restarting my computer and even changing the directory for the download the it never manages to install correctly. This is the first game I've had issues with and I can't seem to find a solution. The main issue is that when I check the directory where the game is supposed to be installed at (once downloading is over), the directory is empty, which is the reason I suppose it can't launch the game. If anyone has any ideas plz let me know.

Oh wow got it solved, was that not a pain in the neck. Anyways, basically let it sit there for as long as it needs and it'll do the job.

let it sit for from 10 hours to 8 days? if thats so refund is the answer i guess

Haha, no, but on a serious note, let it sit there until it does it. For some reason, it took a while but it finally did it.

My son has the same problem but it's not finishing no matter how long he let's it sit. :(

To be honest, click everything you can in terms of uninstall, re-install and what not. It's truly the only solution. This is the only game I've had issues with.

I have the exact same issue and its only on this game. It always gets stuck on either allocating disk space or creating install files. The game fully downloads but will never finish the install. Doesn't mater how long I wait doesn't move at all for hours.

To fix the allocating disk space message, can you open Steam, go to settings, then to downloads and try to clear cache memory whilst the download is occurring and it should get rid of the allocating disk space message
