Silver Islands quest order

looking for a readable/useable guide for the Silver Islands quests.

did the first part of the main questline where met with the rebels -and sided with the girl.

now it shows a bunch of side quests (the ! mark)
and i know at least one of them changes part of the main questline

I think you can side with Kyra, but still do the Thaletas missions, as long as you don't kill the leader (Podarkes?) until the very end, this is what I did.

I don't know exactly where/when it branches out, but some quick google makes me believe has to do if you chose to romance either of them, or both.

Those were some fun side quests, and lived with my decisions like a good Odyssey should be :-)

The silver islands questline is the most convoluted one in the game. It is really difficult to fully understand it without playing it first. Maybe you can make a save first and play the questline, then if you are not happy with your choices you can reload and start again.

proboly was me, i jump from game to game and a lot of the time have to remeber what i was doing when i load the save or hit continue.

got.. partway through the questline (did the first two Kyra quests) before finding a different guide (had been following one on romancing her) that gives a more... balanced ending.

didnt realize the other isle also had quests that tie into the Silver isle questline.. but one also ties into a charatcer questline.

So. Many. Choices.

some are fairly straightforward (the one with the giant bear for example)

others are less so. (the soctates one, or at least the last part)

also found a .. task? that may tie into the questline, im not sure.
small camp of spatans by the bear want me to kill a ship captian.

...so questions are as follows

1. can i do any of the Thaylates quests without it ...overlry affecting kyla

2. save or kill the captured rebel?
(save him gives better ending to silver islelands but may affect socrates questline)
