Standard vs Ultimate edition

Is it worth paying more for the ultimate edition? What are the benefits?

The Gold edition includes all the content. The Ultimate edition includes a couple stupid extra armors and xp boost.

Mate, it is literally right there on the store page, even with a comparative picture and everything.

Standard: Base game. That's it.

Ultimate edition:
- Base game
- Pack Deluxe: the Capricornus Naval pack (equipment pack) and temporary boosts (which earns you more resources, experience and coins when looting)
- Season pass:
Legacy of the First Blade and the Fate of the Atlantis (DLC)
& Assassin's Creed III Remastered + Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered

I opted for the Gold edition, all the content plus Assassin's Creed 3 which I'll probably never play but it's free.

I would say Gold edition. Ultimate edition is just a couple extra frills. Gold is only bad if you get tired of the game before you even get to that stuff, which as a Ubisoftgame is not impossible. I would say gold
