New update

just got a 176mb update. anyone else got that too?
if yes then what are the fixes in that??

thing is i have to run the ubisoft launcher anyway so its already up to date. i always run it before running the game version on steam. and last time the idiots did this it forced ac black flag to never run in fullscreen mode and they had to rush out a patch to fix the game so it was playable without a window title bar up top distracting you while playing.

i see no logic therefore in this being a connect update since that launcher i also run division games and valhalla directly from so thats current version. it must be something else.

Works just fine here and I checked the time stamps of all the Odyssey files and none of them were updated so it's just an update for Connect. For the record I have a dozen or so Forger mods, some XP and Drachmae tweaks via Cheat Engine and a Reshade running. However I got the game direct from Ubisoft because I don't really need the Steam DRM running in the background which seems to be causing some of you problems that I'm not seeing

All ubisoft games have been updated and the updates weigh the same, so the most likely thing is something related to ubisoft conect

I was wondering the same... But you know recently they just get rid of The Crew, and I am a bit scared.... These wokes are capable of anything....

In my case MSI afterburner and rivatuner causes game to freeze or not launch at all. They still havent fixed that issue before. I just thought for a brief moment that ubisoft might have fixed that issue but unfortunately no, game still crashes or freezes. Shame

Uplay installer update. Just like GTA V, weekly there is an update of that size or so, but it's for the Rockstar Games Launcher. Whenever there is a launcher besides Steam, there is an update of that size or so.

Sucks how you need numerous launchers to play games you buy of Steam.

Connect only updates for the first game you start and when you start a different game it doesn't update again because it has already been updated

The easiest way to tell if the game itself is updated is to look at the time stamps of the game files and you will see none of them were updated except perhaps the manifest. Everything else is going to have an older timestamp

The game has become unplayable after the latest update. My framerate drops to around 10fps during combat and it isn't much higher than that out of combat. I was just playing two days ago without issue. Anyone else having this problem as well?
