Steam is like going through a Temp Employer, you do they work and they take a 30% cut of your pay for essentially doing nothing
Not at all .... They release them after the main selling period of the game after they have gotten their development costs back ..... By not selling on Steam they get those costs back 30% faster .... That's just Common Sense and basic math
There are countless Japanese themed games you don't play as a Japanese man. Nioh, Ghost, Final Fantasy, Persona, etc too many to mention
Funny how it's never been an issue.
And you play as Japanese woman.
Funny how folks reveal their true dog whistle colours.
I caved in, I downloaded Ubi Connect this year to play PoP Lost Crown.
I was impressed by store after going in with low expectations. So much better that UPlay..
- It has a monthly subscription you can get all games including brand new releases. So u don't have to commit to game if yuou dont like it. It will only cost at most 16 bucks
- downloads are as good as Steam,
- always updated
- so much better than EA store
Give it try
That false rumor originates from a standard paragraph in the EULA of pretty much any launcher out there which purely exists to protect the company from fake accounts with bad intentions behind them.
No account with games on them gets deleted no matter how long you did not log in for.
No, instead they have now shown that they will just remove games you have already paid for and prevent you from playing it.
Edit: which was the case with the crew that recently got removed.
I put a ton of hours into The Crew, all single player. A decent company would have put in a patch letting us play SP.
Actually it's because of a EU privacy law that says corporations MUST DELETE ACCOUNTS if they haven't been used in "x" number of years. Ubisoft simply sent out a warning to accounts that met the criteria of the law as they were legally obligated to do in all EU member countries. Like a lot of EU only laws they get applied across the board for all countries because it's just easier to have one rule covering all sales in all countries. A good example of that was the EU ban on leaded solder in new devices. While there was no law in the US at that time manufacturers just applied it for all nations because it was just easier for manufacturers to use one type of solder. Eventually the US passed a similar law anyway but by that time only US sales only companies weren't already in compliance with the lead free solder laws
