Need help with a small thing
Ever since I bought the DLCs I noticed in the in-game shop, in the Add-On section, one of the pictures is missing, specifically the one for the Legacy of the First Blade DLC. The pictures for the chapters are present.

I went to C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Assassin's Creed Odyssey\image_cache
and the picture IS there, it's named: "8ba6e2db1dafc78d659f59a71b98ded1_dlc_bundle_1"

It's not a huge deal of course, just something that bothers my OCD brain. But if the picture does show in your game shop would you tell me what it's named in the image_cache folder?
Even if you don't own the DLCs I'd be interested, cause that exact picture did show in my shop BEFORE i bought the DLC for some reason.

You can try deleting all the files in the image_cache folder and also the cache folder and when you start the game up again it will rebuild both caches

Neither of those folders get deleted when you uninstall the game nor does "Verify Game Files" check them for errors so if there is a problem in there then manually deleting the files is the only solution

That is controlled by the Connect App not the game itself and the Connect App has always been a buggy piece of junk. The old Uplay app that Odyssey originally used was so much better but didn't support Cross Progression which I don't use anyway as the last console I bought said N64 on it

I imagine the new "hub" they are building for the upcoming AC games is also going to be a buggy mess. seeing as they haven't been able to fix Connect despite it being 3 1/2 years since they released it

Yeah I noticed that app kind of a mess in general. In this case it's just something mildly annoying. I'm just curious to know if everyone else who plays this game also doesn't have that exact image not showing.

I had deleted all files in image_cache before and it didn't work, but deleting the whole folder made the image show up, so thank you for the suggestion!
Hilariously, another image from somewhere else in the shop that did appear before is now missing (one of the Lieutenant packs). That's less annoying though, if I really decide I want to fix it I think buying the pack would do it.

The problem isn't actually the game itself, it's the notoriously buggy Connect App. I have both the overlay and cloud saves turned off in mine because they caused so many problems in Valhalla and stuttering sometimes in other Ubisoft games. Game saves don'
t get deleted either when you uninstall a game, the only time you need to worry about clouds saves is if you do a fresh install of Windows. Then you should either back up the saves folder or turn cloud saves back on and start the game(s) so it sends the saves to the cloud before you do a re-install.
