Bench Mark tool question
Hi I have been trying to get an answer to this. In this game, in the benchmark tool, in the HUD, it is specifically saying that Vsync, FPS limit and something else, are all off, even though i have them enabled, off on, it doesnt seem to matter it never switches. And it seems like vsync is disabled, as there is tearing everywhere.
My question is, is there any way to get the BM tool to actually run the graphics settings that i'm setting? If not, what is the point of a BM tool that picks it's own settings? Of what use is the resulting info?

I'm sure i'm missing something, please let me know if possible, as it's inconceivable that this could be the case. This is as far as I have gotten in this game, twice...on 2 different computers. Is the BM tool just broken? Does Vsync in the game work? It's not something I can get past, until I can BM the game properly i can't really play it.

I can confirm that VSync works properly in this game. Even the one from the game itself, not just through Nvidia Control Panel. (I have the same GPU as yours and I can't stand the screen tearing myself as well)

When I started benchmark I noticed the same. Didn't bother myself with that.
But usually benchmarks will never give you the best results in performances anyway. It's just more optimized than the entire in-game map.

So, yes, VSync works fine while you are in the game.

Ok, well that's good to know, so it just doesn't work in the benchmark tool? I have never heard of this, all other BM tools I use, use the settings i set. I don't understand the purpose of telling me the fps of settings i'm not going to use.

So to be clear, The Bench Mark Tool is Broken. Correct?

Yes, on my side seems broken as well. It didn't apply the VSync setting at all. Other settings I didn't even check. It will give you some insights about the average FPS, but it won't be exact the same when you start your game. Could be a bit lower, depending on the cities you are in.

So, in game, VSync works just fine.

Vsync limits fps to your current refresh rate so it is obvious that benchmark works better and gives true result only when fps is uncapped.
