Death arrows

It turns out I did not have to finish the daughters of Artemis quest. I collected the pelts except the Lion, brought them all together to Daphne and got the death arrows.

Anyone knows what is the trigger to get the arrows? Is is a specific beast? Doing certain number of them?

And remember: this is for posterity, so be honest.

irrc once you defeated all the legendary animals and give all the pelts to Daphne, she tells you meet her at the most northeastern island nation (don't remember the name, but the same one with Medusa). Not sure if you're at that point or not.

before that point. I still don't have the Namean lion pelt.

Its when you get level 50. Your quiver becomes gold and death arrows unlocks. I havent even gave most of the pelts yet. Im currently lvl 61 and i have death arrows.

So it has nothing to do with the daughters of Artemis quest?

Death arrows. You’ll get these arrows by defeating two legendary animals for the Daughters of Artemis. This is a pretty high-level quest — we found it around level 12 or 13 — so don’t expect to unlock them for a while. Death arrows deal extra damage and fly a little faster.
