How freaking long is this game

I'm 50 hours in, level 42, and I only have 1 of the central cultist ring dead. Seriously how long does this game take? I'm at the Olympics quests atm.

Up to 200 hours give or take, if you have all the DLCs and taking your time. If you're hunting for achivements, could be longer, depending on your skills.

It seems like you just did not research that question before you purchased AC: Oydessy but a quick search BEFORE you pulled the plug on this title is on you, not the awesome game length (which in my opinion, all narrative-driven games should have, this isn't COD, Resident Evil *and that's bad for an RE title to have only ~8.5 hrs main story, IMO*, etc. 🙄).

It can be completed in some 20h to 30h, tho I am over 260h into the game, almost 90% to 95% of the map explored, 46% of the main quests done :)

Play the game for the game, not for the ending of it, and imho it will be far more enjoyable.

I was thinking the same thing until I was around level 50.
Once you hit level ~50 the cultist stuff is pretty trivial. You can assassinate a lot of them without many quests leading up to it (the Delian league has a few island leaders who you can take out along with all of their guards if you're geared enough).

I'm about 78 hours (according to uplay) into the game, level 56, and working on the DLC content now.

Yup. The game basically lasts as long as you want it to. If you want to finish it, stop doing side quests and focus on the main story. The side content is there for people wanting more and is not required at all.

If you want it to be longer, just avoid all quests, side and main quests, and go for the hunt, or go underleveled for "longer fights".

Why complain about the length of the game? Gives you more content and story?? It's like people complain that games are too short, but if you make them longer then it's too long. I found every minute and hour I spent on this game to be very, very enjoyable. I'm glad it's nice and long, it has an incredible story and the DLC's are just as good!

This game has a pretty incredible amount of content meant to be enjoyed.

You have 1,400 games and the vast majority have less than 10 hours.
You very rarely finish.

Therefore... if it is too "freaking long" then just stop (like with all the others).

I think it took me around 300 hours, but I took my time and cleared the whole map. Than played a new game plus.

You're right guys, I've decided to not rush it and just dip in for few hours at a time, play something else if/when i get bored for a bit. This is just way bigger than Origins which was last AC game i played!
