Cheating policy?
Before anyone starts accusing me of cheating, no I'm not cheating nor do I intend to.
Just curious to know what Ubi's policy on cheating is.
Can you use some kind of cheat to get yourself infinite Helix or Orichalc?
Would they ban you for that? It's weird, this being a single playing game. Normally devs only ban you for cheating in MP/MMO games.

You cant cheat helix or orichalcum. Both are saved entirelyon the server side, you cant even see your helix/orichalcum wihtout being logged into the UPLAY servers.
So unless you can hack the UIBSOFT servers there is no way to cheat those two.
You can cheat other materials like wood or leather if you really want.

in addition to what Ogami wrote that also would be a criminal act since helix credits are a product you have to pay real money for.

It is the equivalent of paying to see a movie in the theater than taking popcorn out of the shop while the shopkeeper was looking the other way aka stealing

Ubisoft is very much aware of Trainers and Cheat Engines. Even during a time when there was a bug. I personally call "Cultist Forever!". At some point in the game (you are aware). You change into Cultist Robes. After you finish. Instead of changing back into your armor. You are stuck wearing the robes.

The work arounds for this. They clearly pointed out two ways: One way for those using Trainers/Cheating Engines (You shouldn't) and the other for "Fair People".

The post was never deleted by Ubisoft or anything. Though they did fix the bug with Patch 1.03.

So you can cheat as much as you want. Just make sure what cheats you use.....as Ubisoft did put some cheat defenses into the game. As you can really F-up your playthrough. Like some NPCs that you REALLY NEED end up dying and they never respawn. <.< Even more so if you have a cheat active to do Super Damage.

I won't lie.......I found this out the hard way. I am not proud. Yet it is a game. I'll curse and moan but it is my fault by the end of the day. Yet can do better now!
