I suspect it may be a placeholder for later DLC content since one of the 2 story DLC will deal with Atlantis and that door seems to lead further into the depths.
Or its for one of the additional free side quests they plan to add over the next 6 months.
They talked about it in their "past launch support" video.
Well it's the same type of door as the one in Boeotia where you need a key stele to open it. Origin being Mycenean and not Atlantian
Yes it is a door just like that one, which is partly why was curious as to how to get in there.. Maybe it is for something in the future. I just thought I would ask anyway.... Thx
A good example is Naxos, Greek mythology states that Zeus hid in the caves in the moutain and if you go have a look you can find a door similar to the minotaur's (circule in the ground).
The DLC might have you opening several of them to explore
