No entrance to Hades? (No Spoiler)
Hey there!

As a big fan of greek mythology and after meeting some of it in person in Odyssey, I was really curious about the entrance to Hades on the southern tip of Peloponnes, through which Orpheus and Herakles entered Hades to bring out Eurydike and Cerberos, respectively. I imagined some Isu-connection, that would explain stuff like the subterrenean river Styx or Charon, the ferryman - but after reaching an appropriate level and checking the spot out, I found... Absolutely zilch. And now I am very disappointed (with a great game I have lots of fun with for dozens of hours, mind you - this is none of the whining we've been hearing since release).

Cape Matapan (Peloponnes' sothernmost tip) housed a temple of Poseidon until the Byzantines arrived, which was situated right above the Hades cave, and the peninsula is about 3 miles long from north to south IRL - in game it's just some rocks and grass sticking out of the sea, so maybe there just wasn't enough space to add Matapan (or Tainaron).

Now - without spoilers or anything - is there really no reference to the Greek Underworld at all, except stuff like "Blabla of Hades"? According to myth, there were multiple ways to enter (Eleusis has some connection as well), so maybe there is another reference I didn't find yet, I've just reached Sparta. I just can't believe they omitted a chance like that.

The 2nd dlc will add more to the mythology part of Odyssey. So maybe there'll be what you're looking for there.

I really hope so. If there is a place like -SPOILER - which will be expanded upon even more via the second DLC, there's at least no reason not to include some kind of Hades-reference.

Well the Necromanteion of Hades and the River Acheron are outside the playable area (in that Northwest corner), so most of the underworld related areas of Greece are inaccessible.
